Bel Furniture and Trae tha Truth Continue Giving Back to Texas Families in Need
Houston-based furniture retailer, Bel Furniture, and rapper/community activist Trae tha Truth have teamed up for several years to give back to Texas families in need. Starting this April, the duo will continue their tradition of surprising one family per week with a full furniture remodel for a requested room.
Bel Furniture has also been donating furniture to those in need, including an 82-year-old woman in Alabama who was arrested for an outstanding bill of just $77. Trae tha Truth learned of her story and, with the help of Bel Furniture, remodeled her entire home and furnished it with a bedroom set, dining set, coffee table set, reclining living room set, and a console table for her foyer.
This ongoing initiative is part of Bel Furniture's and Trae tha Truth's commitment to making a positive impact in their community and beyond. Bel Furniture, a family-owned business proud to call Texas home, has a long-standing history of giving back to their community. Trae tha Truth, a Houston native, is dedicated to improving the lives of those around him and has been a key partner in this effort.
In July, Houston will celebrate the 15th annual Trae Day, a day dedicated to community service and giving back. On this day, Trae and other celebrities will join forces to surprise one Texas family with a fully furnished home.
"We are proud to partner with Trae tha Truth to make a difference in the lives of Texas families," said Sid Mollai, CEO of Bel Furniture. "Trae is a rare kind of angel with a golden heart. It was an honor working with him side-by-side, because he touches and inspires every life,” said Nazila Mollai, Community Manager of Bel Furniture.
