This table was fairly simple to assemble after some investigation. It's size is just right and allows for swivel chairs to swivel without hitting the legs. I only wish the ends were just a little longer as they don't fully allow you to sit close enough to eat, but it's not that far from norm. 6 chairs fit well around this table. During assembly, the instructions were not great... but it didn't take long to figure out after a couple tries. The cross bar and legs need to be connected to each other first. This is due to holes on the legs not lining up with the crossbar. Then connect the legs to the table as one, keeping all screws loose until all screws are in place (we're talking 12 screws total). The instructions don't explain in this order. It's takes an engineer background to figure out this puzzle since the screw holes didn't line up doing it the other way as per the instructions. Just be sure not to strip the screw holes by cross threading, hand tighten all screws first !! don't force. Table sat flat and is very sturdy, i believe this is why the screw holes were a little off, so there is tension to make for a sturdy table.
