The bunk bed uses a KD construction with pine wood, plywood, and MDF that meets CARB P2 standards. The headboard and footboard are made from plywood and MDF, the shelf is MDF, the side rails are wide plywood, the slats are plywood LVL, and the legs are solid pine.

Yes. A KD trundle is included under the lower bunk. It features MDF front and back panels, a set of LVL support slats, and four easy-glide casters so it rolls out smoothly for sleeping or storage and tucks away when not in use.

No box spring is required. The full over full bunks and the trundle all include slat support systems designed to hold the mattresses directly while helping with airflow and mattress stability.
